The 115th Kyogle Show was cancelled because of wet weather.
Despite the cancellation, some judging took place. Here are some of the results.
Kyogle’s Young Women of the Year went to Charlize Taylor and Hayley Butler is runner-up.
Pippa Kennedy is Junior 2024 Young Woman of the Year.
The meat sheep, fleece and stud cattle were judged.
About 30 students from local schools took part in the show’s youth judging day.
It is Stella Dean and Charlie Roberts who will represent Group 1 at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2025 for both meat sheep and fleece.
The cakes were judged too.
Champion Cake winner is Rikki Clark and Reserve Champion is Desiree Little.
Kerry Little won the Australian Dried Fruits Association State Rich Fruit Cake competition. She will be baking her second Rich Fruit Cake for the group final later this year. If she succeeds there, she bakes a third cake for the Royal Easter Show final.
In the Photography section the talent on display was truly inspiring, show officials said.
Andrea McIntosh is the winner for the Most Outstanding Image in the open section.
Rayne Keylar wins for the Most Outstanding Image in the 12 years and under category, and Ellie Langley in the 13–17 years category.
N.A Whitehead came first for a stunning bouquet in the flowers section.
