I feel the Casino community deserves to have the details of the proposed bottle shop planned for the Coles Plaza.
I and anyone I’ve spoken to is shocked to hear that Casino could have an extra liquor outlet, especially one across the road from two bottle shops.
And this on top of four takeaway bottle outlets and two RSM outlets and four hotels.
The community deserves to be consulted over the need for extra liquor outlets when we already have plenty of choices.
Does the NSW Licensing Authority consult with the community and if not, what is the criteria for a new liquor outlet being approved?
If this information isn’t publicly released, I call for a public meeting to be held so the community’s opinions can be heard.
