A car rolled over on Cheviot Hills Rd at Drake at 6.45am, today, Friday January 20.
At the scene, emergency services found a man with critical injuries.
Paramedics were unable to revive the man and he died at the scene.
The driver was 48 years old.
Casino VRA Rescue Squad and Casino RFS were at the scene.
Cheviot Hills Rd remains closed at Bruxner Highway, with only local traffic allowed.
