Late this afternoon, Sunday, July 3, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was needed for an urgent inter hospital retrieval from Kyogle Memorial Hospital to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A 48-year-old man was suffering from a serious cardiac condition.
He was stabilised at Kyogle by the helicopter critical care medical team before he was flown direct to the Gold Coast.
