MAP: Best spot to see Casino Truck Show, best place to park

About 300 trucks will roll into Casino at 10am on Saturday, August 6. Make sure you have your spot well before that time. Take a chair, get comfy and wait for the big rigs to roll down the street.

Casino Rescue Squad will be leading this year’s parade with their best rescue truck sounding the siren out in front.

Pick a spot to get the best view.

The Casino CBD will be closed from 6am on Saturday 6 August in the following locations:

Walker St – from River St to North St

Barker St from Centre St to Hickey St

Canterbury St from Domino’s to Canterbury St taxi rank

Simpson Pde and Convent Pde will be closed off at Walker St

Most streets will reopen at 5pm. Walker St between Barker St and Graham Place will open at 9pm.

If you want to buy a truck show cap or t-shirt head to the Casino Truck Show merchandise tent on the main roundabout near the stage.

Lucky Inger designed the t-shirts and Rudi from Texas Aardvark printed them. The shirts cost $40.

On that stage, Col Finley will be live from 5pm. Thor Phillips from Kyogle will perform too.

Aussie strongman Troy Conway-Magnusson will show his strength by pulling a big rig.

The thrills and spills of Aussie FMX will be a thrill to watch with their airborne acrobatics.

Casino RSM Fishing Club will have a stall with food and drinks for sale on the day.

The Casino History Museum will host a barbie too.

The best place to park is behind Civic Hall, at the carparks at the supermarkets and in the streets surrounding the CBD.

Enjoy the sparkling chrome rigs and have a great day.
