A corset that looks like it could be something special to someone was found at Back Creek in Bentley.
A woman (who asked not to be named) was with some friends visiting her son at his new house in Bentley.
“While we were there, my son took us for a walk down the back to show us all the carp in Back Creek,” the woman said.
“Having a look around, a friend yelled out, “Check this out, a corset,” and pulled out the corset absolutely covered in mud.”
The corset looked destroyed, she said.
“I instantly thought it could be part of someone’s wedding dress having sentimental value and if I’d lost everything in the flood, I’d love to have it returned.”
The woman took the corset home and threw it in a bucket of bleach overnight.
She thought it would fall apart.
The corset was washed twice and “it came out beautiful”.
“It does have a few rust looking stains.”
Is this your corset? It’s modern, the remains of a tag shows it is an XL.
It has a plastic zipper up the side.
