A 4WD towing a caravan left the road and came to rest in a precarious position down an embankment on Hare Street, Casino at 11.20am today, Saturday, June 28.
Casino VRA Rescue squad, police and Casino Fire Brigade went to hare Street to assist.
The 4WD had two wheels off the ground and was at risk of rolling further. Fortunately, the driver and passenger had got themselves out of the car.
No one was injured.
The rescue crew stabilised the car using a winch to prevent further movement.
Then, working closely with a tow truck operator, the crew recovered the 4WD and caravan without further damage.
