
The Oak Centre in Casino had a grand reopening on Wednesday, October 11.
Momentum Collective celebrated with the community with guided tours, live music and stalls.
Richmond Valley mayor Robert Mustow and deputy mayor Steve Morrisey were at the reopening.
Momentum Collective operations manager Richmond Valley Fiona Miller was thrilled with the centre’s refurbishments.
“It was great to see over 100 community members at the Oak Centre again,” Ms Miller said
The Oak Centre’s refurbishment included an accessible bathroom, security fencing and cameras to bolster safety.
A sandstone yarning circle and a basketball court was made. These enhancements breathe new life into the Oak Centre.
Momentum Collective thanked the Casino Golf Club for their donation to the Oak Centre.
