Last weekend a baby girl was in a rush to be born.

NSW Ambulance posted a story on Facebook about paramedics delivering a baby at Wardell.

“This little girl was in a rush to meet the world yesterday morning in Wardell, arriving at home with the assistance of paramedics Emily and Brendan,” NSW Ambulance said.

For paramedic Emily, it was her first time delivering a baby.

“It was the sixth birth for this brave mum, who had a house full of excited children after the quick birth.”

Emily said it was an incredibly special moment when the baby cried, “bringing tears of joy to all in the room”.

Mother and baby are healthy and happy.
