Patricia Small from Woodenbong has sewn 1000 hand towels for the gift shop at Lismore Base Hospital.
Rhonda Powell is secretary of the Lismore Hospital Auxiliary and she presented Patricia with a Certificate of Appreciation.
The crocheted hand towels are the gift shop’s biggest seller, Rhonda said.
At 87 years of age, Patricia plans to keep sewing hand towels for the hospital.
“She’s a great volunteer,” Rhonda said.
Patricia and Rhonda were at the 100th birthday celebration for Kyogle Hospital at the Kyogle Bowling Club today, Saturday, June 28.
