Sirens were heard this morning, Thursday, December 29, as emergency services rushed to a crash on the Bruxner Highway at Piora.
The Casino Rescue Squad, ambulance, police and RFS crews headed out of Casino at 8.42am after reports of a person trapped in a car.
When the rescue squad arrived, the driver was out of the car and was being treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
The rescue squad helped with traffic management for about an hour until the car was removed from the highway.
