There is still a strong wind warning in place for the Evans Head coast according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
The south to southeasterly winds reached 25-35kmh during the day and have decreased to 15-25kmh this evening, Sunday, October 9.
Tomorrow’s weather in Evans Head is expected to be cloudy with a slight chance of rain.
