Police cars with sirens blaring rushed from Casino to Bonalbo at 5pm yesterday, Sunday, January 8.
Officers were called to a home on Woodenbong Rd because of concerns for the welfare of a 50-year-old woman.
Police advised residents to stay indoors until the incident was sorted.
Specialist police including negotiators resolved the incident shortly before midnight.
