This is part of a paid promotion for Primex

Of course, there are big machines at Primex, and there’s lots more.

Norco Primex Field Days is on starting today, Thursday, May 15, and there is so much on the program with three days of cutting-edge exhibitions, expert panels, culinary showcases, and family-friendly entertainment in the heart of the Northern Rivers.

Primex 2025 builds on 41 years of tradition and innovation, supporting the values, productivity and future of the Northern Rivers’ farming communities. From workwear to heavy machinery, health services to paddock-to-plate demos, this year’s event delivers a true festival of agriculture, community and regional pride.

Perfect for a fun family day out, Primex includes a fun-filled lineup of activities from drone demonstrations, Wildlife Twins and working dog trials to the beloved Dinky Di train. Plus, enjoy delicious food and drink options throughout the site and live music entertainment. Read about the Five reasons to take the kids to Primex.

One of this year’s highlights is the Paddock to Plate Pavilion, where the culinary stage lights up with an appearance from celebrity chef Darren Robertson. His live cooking demonstration will bring farm-fresh ingredients to life celebrating local produce.

Also participating this year are meat industry experts, ag tech innovators, and the NSW Department of Primary Industries, which will be engaging primary producers via the Farms of the Future program.

Primex Director Bruce Wright said this 41st Primex is a return to grassroots values with a strong focus on shaping the future for rural producers across the region.

“One innovation we’re proud to introduce is Young Aggies North Coast, a new network supporting under-35s in agriculture to connect, collaborate and plan for the future,” he said.
