What’s On this weekend?
Tomorrow, Saturday, January 18 is Kyogle’s time to shine.
The Giant Pumpkin and Watermelon Festival brings a large crowd to Stratheden Street to see not only pumpkins, but other oddly shaped vegetables.
There will be the Gold Gumboot Toss and a watermelon eating competition. Here’s the day’s program.
After all the activities enjoy the watermelon and pumpkin themed menus at many of the pubs and cafes in Kyogle.
I urge you to get to the festival – it is loads of fun, friendly crowds and plenty to do.
Casino Farmers Market is on from 8am tomorrow and Kyogle’s Farmers Market is on as part of the pumpkin festival.
On Sunday, try your hand (just one) at darts at Cawongla Community Centre.
