Casino Rescue Squad drove to a property at Ewingar at 4pm today, April 15 to help paramedics attending to a person suffering a serious medical episode.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to the scene to help paramedics stabilise the patient before they had to leave to attend another high priority job.

The Rescue Squad members assisted the paramedics with the patient before returning to Casino.

While responding crews were met with rain, a slippery range, land slips and a stubborn bull in the middle of the road.

Crews were called out again on the return trip to another ambulance assist job at Woolners Arm on Sextonville Rd.
