The Woodburn community have been one of the worst flooded areas in the region with many residents in evacuation centres or stranded since Tuesday, March 1.

The Bureau of Meteorology reported that the Richmond River at Woodburn remains at a major flooding status.

The Richmond River at Woodburn is currently at 4.28 metres and falling and is expected to fall below the major flood level of 4.20  this afternoon.

There is a moderate flooding warning at Bungawalbin and minor flooding at  Coraki.

The Richmond River at Coraki is currently at 4.69 metres and at Bungawalbin it is 4.58 metres and falling.

Do not go for a drive to Woodburn to view the flood damage, the community has so much to deal with right now.
