The beach kiosk at the foreshore reserve in Evans Head is temporarily closed.
Evans Head Reflections leases the kiosk and a spokesperson said the kiosk operator indicated to Reflections that they wanted to exit and agreed to stay on month to month until a new operator could be found.
“The previous operator, who has managed the Evans Head Riverside Kiosk under contract for the past six years, has made the decision to conclude his time. We sincerely thank Rob and the team for their tenure during this time.”
Reflections has since held conversations with an experienced food and beverage operator to take on the kiosk.
An agreement is expected to be signed in the coming days, the spokesperson said.
“Reflections has committed to a new, refreshed look for the kiosk with the operator using fresh, local produce across its menu.”
The kiosk with a new operator is expected to open by July.
Reflections did not release names or details about the new operator.
