Shaun Morrissey is going through a difficult time in his life.
And his partner, family and friends are rallying around him.
Shaun aka Mozza is 32 and has anaplastic large cell lymphoma which is a blood cancer.
He is in hospital in Brisbane getting his fourth round of chemotherapy.
“I’ve lost my hair and lost weight,” Shaun said.
He’s been unwell since November last year but has only recently been diagnosed and it has turned his world upside down.
“I was so crook for so long,” he said.
“I still have to have a stem cell transplant.”

Shaun grew up in Casino. His father is deputy mayor Steve Morrissey.
Shaun’s partner Patty Sawtell, also from Casino is looking after him. They are staying in the Cancer Council Lodge in Brisbane.
But they need money. Centrelink has not been much help, Shaun said and there is a long waiting period for them to get payments.
In the meantime, a fundraiser with a target of $4000 has been set up.
Shaun’s mate Josh Hyde is running a sausage sizzle at the Kyogle skatepark this Sunday, August 28 to raise money for Shaun and Patty,
“I have a lifelong friend who’s dealing with cancer treatment. He is struggling financially to help cover treatment, medications and everyday living expenses,” Josh said.
“His lovely partner has had to quit her job to care for him fulltime. He’s good for about two hours a day only and spends a lot of time stressing on how he’s going to pay for things that need attention.
Josh invites people to buy a sausage sandwich and can of drink 10am-2pm to help support “a real life legend who’s really doing it tough at the moment”.
If you can help with even a small donation go to the fundraiser and donate.
