There will be pumpkins. Giant ones and they’ll be weighed at 9am on Saturday, January 21 in Kyogle at the Summerland Giant Pumpkin and Watermelon Festival in Stratheden St.
The weighing starts at 9am this Saturday, January 21.

After viewing the vegetables why not enjoy an ice cold watermelon Pilsner or watermelon mojito at the Top Pub.
There are cafes and clubs in Kyogle offering special dishes as part of the festival and right through January.
Roxy Lane cafe has spiced pumpkin waffles with vanilla cream. Ruby’s cafe is serving pumpkin lasagne. Kyogle Bowling Club offers a special dish of prosciutto wrapped pumpkin on a rocket, fetta and pine nut salad with macerated strawberries and a creamy blue cheese sauce. Or try the grilled barramundi on a watermelon, baby spinach and fetta salad.

Undercover judges have been sampling the festival dishes and the winner will be announced at the Festival Saturday 21st January 2023.
