Shallin Fuller from Muli Muli signs one year contract with Gold Coast Titans

Shallin Fuller describes himself as a late bloomer to rugby league.
“I started playing footy around 16 or 17,” Fuller said.
He quickly made his way through the grades at the Burleigh Bears, finishing the season in the Intrust Super Cup.

Fuller joins the Gold Coast Titans on a development contract for the 2022 season.

The young Aboriginal man moved from Muli Muli near Woodenbong to Burleigh, Queensland, in 2019 and played his first Colts game.
Joining the Titans will increase his fitness level.
“It’s my first time in a fulltime training facility and I’m keen to just work on my game,” he said.
When Fuller was called to play in the Queensland Cup, he had to learn about the difference between playing against kids and moving up to play against men.
“It was a big move for me, especially with my weight.  I was weighing around 70-something kilos when I was playing 20s and now I’m close to 90kg.

That is better for me in my defence.

“I learnt a lot in my defence and it’s more structured and physical too than the 20s”.
Fuller has a one-year contract at the Titans and is keen to stay at the Gold Coast.
