Shocking state of roads needing repair after floods

If you’re annoyed about potholes on your road, think about the people who use the roads impacted by major landslips or the damage to access roads ruined by the recent flood event.

Richmond Valley Council has some major repair work to do and its going to take some time.

Along with the clean-up post flood, these roads will need to be repaired.

Residents will need to be patient as the need is great in many areas across the region.

Richmond Valley Council general manager Vaughan Macdonald said it was important to restore vital infrastructure including to key transport routes.
