Shooters and boxers benefit from grant money to buy sauna, wireless remotes

Kyogle Boxing Club and the Urbenville-Woodenbong Shooters Club will receive grant money for improvements.

The boxing club will buy a four-person infrared sauna worth $7729.

Sporting Shooters Association of Australia NSW Urbenville-Woodenbong branch plan to buy wireless remotes and receivers for clay target throwers to improve safety at the range and allow more time for competition. This grant is valued at $2212.

State MP Janelle Saffin announced that five clubs will share $50,000 in the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program.

The other recipients include:

Lismore Old Boys Rugby League Incorporated: $20,000.

Dunoon United Football Club: $15,956.

Goonellabah Football Club: $4,103.
