Sirens sound for two incidents – a chainsaw injury and a truck rollover

Two unrelated incidents today, Monday, June 3 had emergency services rushing to Kyogle LGA.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed at Wiangaree to assist a man in his 60s who had an arm injury from a chainsaw accident.

The man was assessed by the medical team and then taken by road ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital.

Emergency services also attended a truck rollover at Collins Valley Road at about 1pm.

Police and the SES helped to free the male driver from the truck.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
