Would you like to be on a tourism advisory committee to promote the Richmond Valley?
A Discover Richmond Valley Tourism Advisory Committee is being set up by Richmond Valley Council and anyone who lives or works in the valley can apply to be on the committee.
The committee will be made up of six industry representatives and tourism staff. The mayor, councillors and council staff will be invited to meetings which will happen four times a year.
The Richmond Valley Destination Management Plan 2021-2025 will be the base to improve the council’s tourism plans.
People who would like to be on the committee need to:
reside or work in the Richmond Valley LGA,
have experience with and understanding of the tourism industry,
be interested in advancing tourism within the Richmond Valley and,
be able to work as part of a team.
Successful applications will be appointed for two years, starting July 1, 2023.
