Solar panels, internet, oil businesses get a cash kickstart

Two businesses to operate out of Casino and one in Rappville will get funding from  the State Government’s Regional Jobs Creation Fund.

Elecsome will receive $500,000 to help them invest $2 million for more solar panel upcycling plants in regional NSW including Casino.

Elecsome operates Australia’s first end-of-life solar panel upcycling plant in regional Victoria.

$200,000 will help new local tech firm Komet establish superfast local broadband, initially in Casino, Ballina and Byron.

Main Camp will be hiring more workers at their Rappville Farm with a $170,000 grant to go towards upgrading the business’s natural extracts distillation facility to produce pharmaceutical-grade oil.

In Townsend Sanctus Brewing Co will embark on a million-dollar, government-backed, brewhouse upgrade to increase its capacity so it can expand into interstate markets.
