Speak up – Iron Gates public meetings coming up

It’s time to have your say on the proposed Iron Gates housing development in Evans Head.

The Northern Regional Planning Panel will hold two public meetings on August 30 in relation to the Iron Gates development application submitted by GoldCoral Pty Ltd.

The public meetings will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at the Riverfire Room, Club Evans RSL, 11–13 McDonald Place, Evans Head.

The meetings will be chaired by Paul Mitchell from the NRPP.

The first session is at 11am, the second is at 1.30pm.

Individuals will be allowed three minutes to speak and groups will have 10 minutes. The developer Graeme Ingles can speak for 15 minutes.

The panel won’t be making its final decision on the day, that is expected to come within seven days of the meeting.

Nominate your preferred session.

Any person may register to attend the meeting to observe.

The panel is required to make an audio record of the meeting and make the recording publicly available on its website.
