At 5.15pm, yesterday, Saturday, July 29, emergency services were called to Nimbin Rd, Booerie Creek, where the driver of a station wagon lost control and the car rolled before hitting a tree.
The driver was declared deceased by paramedics. He is yet to be formally identified.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
