Tiarn Stenner is level-headed and full of ideas. They are both excellent qualities to be an event coordinator.
Tiarn is one of 20 young people from across the state to win a NSW Government Diploma of Event Management scholarship.

The 20 year old started with Richmond Valley council as a trainee in 2020.

This year she steps up to be event officer at the council for a year.
It is Tiarn who will be behind the popular Christmas Street Party on December 2.
“I’ve taken on a big role,” she said.
This year she helped with Australia Day, Anzac Day, Beef Week and Primex so she’s been getting plenty of hands-on experience.

She’s excited about the scholarship and the opportunities it brings.
As for her future plans, she likes working with the council.
“I’d like to stay local, and this course will help me progress,” she said.
The scholarship is for a one-year study for a Diploma run by Meetings & Events Australia.
Tiarn will complete her study online with access to industry tutors.
