Sudden mobile outage in Kyogle caused by fibre cable damage 300km away

For those trying to use their 4G and 5G service, it may feel like that.

Telstra has advised that a transmission fault possibly caused by suspected fibre cable damage in the Armidale region is impacting 4G and 5G services in the Kyogle LGA.

Telstra technicians estimate the issue will be resolved tomorrow, Wednesday, February 28 by 10am for both 4G and 5G.
