Teen charged with break and enter of indoor sports centre after keys found at his home

A teenage boy has been charged with break and enter at Casino last month.

The break-in was at the indoor sports centre in Casino at 3.20am on Wednesday, August 28.

After extensive inquiries, police searched a home in Drake at 1pm yesterday, Thursday, September 12.

During the search several items were seized including a box believed to contain various allegedly stolen keys.

A 17 year old boy was arrested at the home and taken to Casino Police Station where he was charged with ‘aggravated enter dwelling in company intent to steal, and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen’.

The teen was granted strict conditional bail and he will face a children’s court on Thursday, October 10.
