The Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed in Woodburn at 12.45am, today, Wednesday, October 2 after reports that a car had crashed into a tree at Bungawalbin.
The teenage driver was assessed by the helicopter’s medical team before being taken by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital.
She had head and chest injuries but was in a stable condition.
