The next exhibition at Cassino Gallery is a stunning display of works by the Lismore and District Embroiderer’s Group.
The Beauty of Stitch showcases the variety of embroidery styles, techniques and projects done by members of the group.
Also, on display are works that all members have contributed to, and which have been on show in Sydney at the Stitches and Craft Shows.
There will be a free workshop on Friday, April 11 at 11am–noon for those who would like to try their hand at a technique.
In the workshop, participants will use a needle and thread to decorate a photograph. Turn family photos into a personalised gift or keepsake. Photos supplied or if you prefer, bring your own.

The official opening of The Beauty of Stitch is on Saturday, April 5 at 2pm–4pm. Entry is $10 or $15 a couple and includes nibbles and a drink.
The Beauty of Stitch exhibition dates is running for three weeks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each week, 10am–3pm beginning April 10 until May 3. (The exhibition will be closed on the Easter public holidays).
