Dan McIntyre posts a photo of his wife’s artwork every day on his Facebook page.
Rachel McIntyre was a prolific painter, her paintings of landscapes and animals filled with colour and life.
Rachel was 53 years old when she died on May 22 this year.
“She had tumours throughout her body and brain,” Dan said.
Posting her art is a way to remember her.
Dan is searching for a particular painting on a large canvas of a whale.
“She was proud of that whale,” Dan said.
The whale featured in the NAIDOC exhibition at Cassino Art Gallery in Casino.
Dan isn’t sure whether the painting went to Tabulam, then to a dentist’s office, and was then sold.
He doesn’t want the painting, just a decent photo of it.
