Brett Hyde, pictured above, from Ballina Bait and Tackle said there would be a fair bit of wind throughout the weekend.
Offshore boaties may get a small opportunity early tomorrow to get out, Brett said.
It was worth checking out Emigrant and North creeks to get out of the wind.
“There’s nice whiting and flathead in North Creek.”
Fishers could be lucky enough to catch some bream, flathead or trevally in Emigrant Creek.
Next week weather-wise, it’s a mixed bag with days of sunshine interspersed between windy days.
There’s a few nice snapper on the close reefs if you can get out there, Brett said.
Try a mix of lures and baits.”
