Three RFS brigades have a grass fire under control at 2045 Busbys Flat Rd today, Tuesday, December 20.
A landowner needed assistance when a controlled burn got out of control because of the extra dry grass, an RFS spokesperson said.
Casino, Tomki and Bungawalbin brigades attended the grassfire.
The RFS reminds people that fire permits are suspended December 24 to January 2.
The spokesperson said this was to give RFS members a break over Christmas.
