Two cars crash – man, 84, trapped in car

Emergency services rushed to a crash on the Bruxner Highway at Irvington with reports there were people trapped in a car after a collision at 11.40pm, yesterday, Saturday, July 20.

When police and Fire and Rescue crews arrived, they found two cars had crashed and a 84 year old man was still trapped.

The car door was opened by the Fire and Rescue crew using hydraulic rescue equipment and the man was removed.

He was treated by paramedics for injuries from the crash.

The other driver, a 46 year old man, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Casino VRA Rescue and Casino RFS also attended the incident.
