Two men and a woman have been charged following an operation targeting alleged domestic violence offenders wanted on warrants within the Richmond Police District.
At 10am yesterday, Wednesday, May 1, police attended a home on Muli Muli Crescent, Muli Muli, where they chased and then arrested a man.
The 35 year old man was taken to Casino Police Station where he was charged with three counts of contravening an AVO, common assault, intentionally choking a person without consent, and causing grievous bodily harm to a person.
At about 12pm yesterday, police attended a home on Jubullum Street, Tabulam, where they arrested a man, 31.
He was taken to Casino Police Station where four warrants were executed and he was charged with contravening an AVO, stalking/intimidating and assault.
At about 2pm yesterday, police arrested a 25 year old woman in Casino.
She was taken to Casino Police Station where she was charged with two counts of failing bail conditions, contravening an AVO, and attempting to stalk/intimidate someone to cause harm.
All three were refused bail and were in Lismore Local Court today.
The operation targeting outstanding offenders continues across the region.
