Two weeks of work on Pacific Hwy at New Italy

Traffic monitoring equipment was being installed on the Pacific Highway at New Italy today, Monday, September 5 by Transport for NSW.

Work to build gantry foundations in preparation for the installation of a variable message sign and average speed camera will continue for two weeks.

The work will take place between 7am-6pm on weekdays and 8am-4pm on Saturdays. This work will cause speed restrictions to drivers.

From September 5-8, the southbound shoulder will be closed.

From September 9-13, the north and southbound fast lanes will be closed.

From September 14-17, the northbound shoulder and slow lane will be closed.

There will be reduced speed limit of 60km/h during work hours.
