UPDATE: Bruxner Highway reopens

UPDATE at 2.30pm, Saturday, March 8

Transport for NSW has said Bruxner Highway is open.

The closure was caused by a landslip and multiple fallen trees. The highway has been cleared and had reopened.

UPDATE: The closure now extends from Tenterfield to Piora.

Bruxner Highway is closed in both directions between Bellevue Road and Alison Street because of a landslide reported at 9.30am today, Saturday, March 8,

As shown in the map above, the highway between Drake and Tenterfield is closed.

Drivers should avoid the area.

This impacts travellers going to Tenterfield.
