NSW recorded 222 new covid cases today.
Four of those cases were reported in the Northern Rivers.
Three cases are in the Grafton area of Clarence Valley LGA and are under investigation.
One case is in the Lismore LGA and is linked to a known case.
There have now been 153 total cases in the Northern NSW Local Health District since June 16.
Four people in NSW died from covid overnight, all from the Sydney area.
Three of those people were not vaccinated and one person, a woman in her 80s had received one dose of the covid vaccine.
In NSW, there are currently 254 covid cases admitted to hospital with 42 people in intensive care and 20 who require ventilation.
