A ute crashed into a ditch on the Casino-Coraki Road at 8:40pm, today, Friday November 24.
The Casino Rescue Squad rushed to the crash site after reports the driver was trapped.
When the crew arrived, the driver, 47, was still in the ute but wasn’t trapped.
Police were at the scene and the driver was breath tested which allegedly returned a positive reading.
He was arrested and taken to Casino Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis and reportedly returned a positive reading of 0.225.
The man was charged with High Range PCA and will be in Casino Local Court on Thursday, December 21.
His licence was suspended by police.
