Fire and rescue crews were called to a caravan on fire in the Guirens Rd area at Shannon Brook at about 8.40pm yesterday, Wednesday, October 5.
When the Fire and Rescue truck from Casino station arrived the single caravan was alight.
Two firefighters in breathing gear used a single hose to extinguish the fire.
RFS crews helped with the fire and the clean-up.
It didn’t take long to put the fire out, and then crews returned to the station.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
