Mayor Kylie Webster addressed the crowd gathered outside Kyogle Council Chambers today, Tuesday, December 19.

She was met with boos and placards from the 250 people standing in the heat protesting the sudden sacking of Graham Kennett from his position as general manager.

Last Monday, December 11, five councillors voted to dismiss Mr Kennett without giving a reason why.

No reason was given at the meeting and none was given today.

The mayor made a bow as she went back into the council chambers.
