RFS crews rushed to a grass fire in the Ransons Lane, Tomki area at noon today, Tuesday, November 22.
When the Tomki, Caniaba and Wyrallah brigades arrived they found a paddock on fire.
The fire had started from a rock strike while the landowner was mowing.
Inspector Daniel Ainsworth reminds landowners to take care on warmer days when working in grasslands.
The ground has begun to dry out and the strong winds are drying foliage.
