Evans Head Medical Centre has notified the community about a positive covid case.
“We have had a positive case come through the EHMC. All close contacts have been notified,” was the message posted on the centre’s Facebook page.
“We have taken all precautions including a deep clean of the practice to protect our staff and patients.
“It was only a matter of time before COVID19 came to our door. We see this as a timely reminder to stay vigilant.”
The case comes on a day when there were 45 cases recorded in the Northern Rivers, most of those in Byron Bay.
There were no cases reported in Kyogle or Richmond Valley LGAs.
