WEEKEND FISHING: Rough seas for boaties, bull sharks and mud crabs about

It’s going to be another crappy weekend for fishing with strong winds and up to 3m seas predicted for the weekend.

Too uncomfortable for the boaties. Looks like late next week until they get to go out again.

Snapper can be found out on the 42 and 32 fathom line.

There are a few mahi mahi around the FAD, the sizes are a bit up and down.

There have been a few tailor popping from the rock platforms in the afternoon. Most are being caught using metal spinners.

Still good numbers of bream around, mulloway are in the deeper holes in the lower reaches of the river.

Small bull sharks have been spotted between Wardell and Woodburn.

We’re going to see bigger tides with a full moon on Thursday, expect to see the mud crabs moving around.
