Remember

Easter Operation 2024 launches today, Thursday, March 28. There are double-demerit points in force over Easter for speeding, seatbelt, mobile phone and motorcycle helmet offences.

The operation runs until 11:59pm on Monday, April 1.

Officers will also be targeting high-risk driver behaviour including drink, drug, dangerous and distracted driving.

Seven people lost their lives during last year’s Easter long weekend.

Stay safe. Enjoy that chocolate and take sometime to relax (if you can). For those working during the Easter break – thank you.
