At the Casino Christmas Street Party, mayor Robert Mustow pulled the lever to turn on the lights of the town’s tall Christmas tree.

Richmond Valley Council has organised the lighting of trees in other towns and villages this month.

Here’s where and when you can see the lighting of the trees:

Saturday, December 10

Broadwater (4pm-8pm): raffles, music, jumping castle, face painting and laser light show.

Evans Head (5pm-9pm): Street parade at 5pm from Oak St to Kirkland Court, carols, markets, food stalls, fireworks.

Thursday, December 15 at Rappville (6pm-9pm)

Saturday, December 17 at Coraki (3pm-7pm) and Woodburn (6pm-9pm)
