Will you be helping to clean up Australia on Sunday, March 6?
On Clean Up Australia Day, community groups, organisations and groups of friends and families can get involved by cleaning up a local park, playground, sporting ground, waterway or any other area polluted by litter.
All you have to do is select a site in your area or see if a site is already registered here.
All community-based participants receive a free Clean Up Kit containing gloves, bags and other resources, with packs for families or groups available.
Any waste that you collect during Clean Up Australia Day can be dropped off at the Kyogle Waste Facility for a discounted disposal fee if your event is registered. Please contact the Kyogle Waste Facility before visiting the site to drop off collected rubbish.
Kyogle Council encourages anyone interested in registering an event, or who has registered an event for Clean Up Australia Day to contact the council on 6632 1611 or email council@kyogle.nsw.gov.au.
